When I first came to the SBDC, I was completely confused about how to set up my business or manage employees or pay taxes or anything pertaining to owing a business.  My paper was purchased out of divorce court by myself by borrowing money from three friends.  I had to come up with a business plan to present to them, as well as to direct myself.  I did so with the help of
a seminar put on by the SBDC.  After that course, I implemented the plan and saw the business prosper.  (Click on the picture to advance the story)

I took another seminar on managing business growth that was a key to helping me not panic at the 30% growth that we experienced every year since then.  Now we are in a phase that is not uncommon for businesses this size-where it's going to take money to grow.  I am eager to see what the SBDC can do to help me get to that next step. Without the SBDC, I am certain that my business would have struggled.  It's a great opportunity to realize potential for any business owner.  The Rodeo News has gone from a 34 page monthly newsletter to a 150 page, twice a month, glossy cover publication that is delivered nationwide and to Canada. ###
